PCC is an all-inclusive billing service specializing in maximizing your reimbursements from insurance and patient accounts. We use many tools to effectively reduce the time between your ambulance trip and receiving payment for your service. Key to our success is adapting our service to what your service requires of us. We work with ambulance services that can send everything electronic to us or makes a copy of their trip reports and mails them to us. We work hard to ensure our service meets your expectation.
Electronic Claims Submission
PCC has the ability to submit claims electronically to most insurance payors. Using this technology has reduced payment times from several weeks or longer to days. With all the proper documentation required to bill insurance, our trained billing specialists can get claims paid between two to 12 days.
Web-Based Data Collection
PCC has many years experience working with web based data entered by the EMS medical staff. This tool allows you to to complete your state required reporting along with notifying us you have a trip report ready to be sent to insurance. This cuts down on paperwork and helps expedite the process of getting your reports and required documentation to our trained billing staff. We are familiar with Med-Media and Firehouse Software systems.
Collection Service
PCC is not a collection service. We have many systems in place to ensure we can get maximum revenue up front before the need arises to use a collection service. On the rare occasion that we cannot locate a patient, we forward information on to the collection agency that you want to use. We do not require this service be utilized, but can work with your local agency if requested.
